Kristin Fisher has joined CNN on July 20, 2021. She is CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. As a correspondent, she is in charge of covering all things from NASA's newly-created Space Force to commercial space businesses and the advent space tourism. Kristin's parents are both NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space, and she has since been an White House reporter for FOX News reporting on the both the Biden and Trump administrations on space issues. The reporter also reported on the 2020 presidential campaign as well as the efforts of two administrations in fighting the coronavirus. The reporter also traveled extensively with the President and Vice President, including a top secret trip to Afghanistan along with the then-President Donald Trump. Kristin was a fixture in the regional news market of Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, as well as Washington, D.C. for more than a decade prior to being hired by the CBS network. Kristin was the recipient of one Emmy Award in Washington, D.C. for her work as a CBS affiliate's one-man band reporter. Kristin is also a skilled filmmaker, founded Field Mouse Films, a firm that is specialized in documentaries, for companies such as Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin is a graduate in journalism from Boston University. The couple's husband and daughter reside in Washington, D.C.
